Lola Weippert: The moderator had a meningitis

Lola Weippert (29) reported back to her fans and revealed the exact diagnosis of her illness for the first time. “I was in the hospital with meningitis, because meningitis can be life -threatening,” she said on Instagram.

Already in mid -August, Weippert published a first picture from the clinic on which she was seen with an infusion. In addition, she had only informed her followers about her hospital stay, she only announced the exact diagnosis.

“My doctor said that in a patient he was diagnosed with meningitis at 11 a.m. and at 1 p.m. he was dead. Accordingly, I had to pull the brake and cancel everything,” Weippert continues. For them it was the first inpatient stay in a hospital: “I really shit because you just don’t know how the body packs it”.

It is all the more grateful to be healthy again. “Everything is nothing without our health,” emphasizes Weippert and thanks the hospital staff for his commitment.

In her “three-week forced break” she deliberately gave her sufficient time to recover, according to the 29-year-old. Now she feels ready for her professional obligations. In her Instagram story, Weippert shows her make-up and reports of her first working day after the illness: “I did yoga this morning and can finally get started again and I am so happy,” she enthuses.

The meningitis is not Lola Weippert’s first health challenge. In the summer of 2024, a benign breast tumor was diagnosed with her. The diagnosis of endometriosis followed later. The moderator also found ADHD.
