Verónica Echegui: Actress died at the age of only 42

The actress Verónica Echegui died in a Madrid hospital on Sunday. , the 42-year-old succumbed to cancer against which she had been fighting for some time. She and her family deliberately kept the diagnosis out of the public.

Her last appearance came from the Apple TV+series “Love You To Death”, which was shot in August 2023 and published in early 2025. In the romantic comedy, she embodied Marta, a pregnant woman who meets her childhood friend Raúl after his cancer diagnosis.
