Lil NAS X has been charged by police officers for assault. The rapper was arrested in Los Angeles half -naked.
The US rapper Lil NAS X (26) face serious legal consequences. Against the 26-year-old, with a bourgeois name Montero Hill, was filed in court for presumably triple bodily harm by police officers. After his bizarre arrest last Thursday morning, the allegations were made in Studio City, Los Angeles.
the artist was filmed how he ran almost naked along the Ventura Boulevard in the early morning. Only underwear and white cowboy boots covered his body. Eyewitnesses described his behavior as confused and disoriented.
First hospital, then prison
After the arrest, rescue workers initially brought Hill to a hospital because there was suspicion of an overdose, as police sources confirmed. After his release from the clinic, he was brought to Valley Jail in van Nuys, where he had to spend the weekend. He was originally arrested for the disability of the police.
The charges have now been extended. In addition to the assault against police officers, he is also accused of resistance to enforcement officers. Depending on the exact circumstances of his arrest, the charges could be classified as crimes or offenses. In the event of a conviction, he faces a prison sentence of up to one year and a fine.
Health problems are increasing
The incident is part of a series of health problems that Lil NAS X plagued this year. In April, the rapper, who became world famous with his hit “Old Town Road”, divided into social media that he suffered from a partial paralysis. A month later, he had to cancel his planned main appearance at the Outloud Pride Music Festival in West Hollywood.
According to sources, psychological problems were the reason for the cancellation. The festival said in an official message: “We are in close contact with Lil NAS X and his team with regard to an ongoing medical problem.” The rapper himself emphasized at the time: “After my recent hospital stay, like all of you, I have to prioritize my health and become 100 percent healthy.”
