Prince Harry does not appear this time, but he and the children play a role in the second season of “With Love, Meghan”.
Actually, her Netflix series “With Love, Meghan” is about cooking, baking, decorating. But by the way, Duchess Meghan (44) also chats some details from her private life in the second season. A little consolation for the spectators who hope this time in vain for a appearance by Prince Harry (40). Because while in the first season he appeared at least briefly at the very end, this time he can only be seen in a few photos shown. Here are ten private things that Meghan reveals.
Who first said “I love you”
Fashion designer and moderator Tan France are guests in the third episode. The Duchess talks to him about her love story. When France asks if there was a moment when she realized that she loved the prince, she says: “Yes, that was on our third date. We were in Botswana and spent five days together. You only get to know each other when you sit together in a small tent at night and ask yourself: What is that out there?” France then asks who stood his love first and she reveals: “He told me.” Then she adds with a smile: “It is still crackling.”
Later she tells of the marriage proposal and reveals: “I made a terrible chicken that night. I mean really terrible.” Because: “When I prepared a roast chicken for my current husband, I still had big problems with the conversion of Celsius and Fahrenheit.”
In the seventh episode with Pilates trainer and girlfriend Heather Dorak, the Duchess reveals that she bought a baseball cap with the print “Ph40” for her 40th birthday, which stands for “Prince Harry”.
In the sixth episode, the spectators also receive some insights into the 2018 wedding. Several photos show the royal bride and groom, fireworks and festive covered tables. The British cook Clare Smyth, who is now a guest at Meghan, was responsible for the wedding dinner. In conversation with her, Meghan remembers: “We had a card with the evidence of origin for everything and really wanted to show people where every ingredient comes from. I mean, that was the most delicious food. Everyone is still talking about it.”
Meghan always wanted to be a mother
The Duchess also reveals: “I’ve always wanted to be a mother.” Even as a child, she had already bought a “real diaper bag” for her dolls. And she loves to be a mother. “It is better than I expected.” So she also raves about her two children Archie (6) and Lilibet (4) in several places in the series.
Lilibet’s favorite breakfast
According to Meghan, she prepares a warm breakfast every morning – usually fried eggs and pancakes. That is not as complex as you think. You are happy to surprise your offspring with special ingredients. “So I actually always put a few ground flax seeds or chia seeds in and asks Lili: ‘Can I have my chia seeds? I want to have freckles.'” She also reveals that her daughter’s favorite color is pink.
Archie and Lilibet want a domestic cat
Although the children cannot be seen in the series, they always occur in Meghan’s statements. “My children absolutely want a cat!”, She tells the model Chrissy Teigen. The mother of four is a guest in the second episode. Meghan also emphasizes that son Archie is “the tenderest, sweetest child of all time”.
It was so hard for them without their children
In the third episode, she also confesses to Tan France that she was “not good” after she was separated from her children for almost three weeks – the longest period so far. She did not go into the data in more detail, but it is speculated that she referred to the time when she and Harry had to stay in Great Britain unexpectedly than planned due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022. As a result, Meghan also thinks about how it will be when the children take off. “You want to be like parents who say: ‘Yes, do it. Make your thing. Live your life. But I will miss you so much’.”
Meghan doesn’t like to bake
In the first episode, the Duchess does not like a surprising confession: “I don’t usually like to bake because so much is being measured,” she says to cookbook author Christina Tosi. In her series she can always be seen while baking. However, your “AS Ever” range also contains finished shortbread biscuits and crepe mixtures with pre-dosed quantities. And in the second Netflix relay she suggests: “Let’s prepare our puff pastry. We will manufacture good puff pastry instead of making our dough ourselves.” She loves the idea of ”thinking up baking and making a little more spontaneous”.
McDonald’s apple bags
After a successful audition, most of the actresses would probably go to a gym, the Duchess also emphasizes in her show and is reminiscent of her own past as an actress. After good castings, on the other hand, she rewarded herself with a visit to McDonald’s and treated herself to an apple bag. But of course she prefers homemade apple bags that really “love”.
She doesn’t think is artistic
The Duchess also says that she does not consider herself to be artistically talented. So she didn’t like art lessons at school. Nevertheless, she tries out various creative activities in the new episodes, colored cloths, produces jewelry and pottles a breakfast shell with the inscription “Good morning, sweetheart”. In many activities, she also emphasizes in the new season that she has “never” done it, but now just wanted to try it out. This is particularly fun together with friends. “It’s great to be able to create something that is so unique,” she enthuses in the first episode. However, artistic activities should not be completely new for them. Finally, in the fourth episode, she describes Food author Samin Nosrat that she used to teach other people in “packaging gifts, book bandages and calligraphy”.
What Meghan misses the UK
In various interviews and the Netflix series “Harry & Meghan”, the Duchess has explained in detail how difficult the time was in the royal family and in the UK. It therefore seems amazing that she misses something from these years. But she emphasizes: “One of the things I miss most about the UK are the radio stations.” Her favorite was Magic FM. She loved listening to this “grandma station” with classics that you haven’t heard for a long time.
“With Love, Meghan”
The first season of the lifestyle series started on March 4, 2025. Netflix only confirmed a short time later that there will be a second season. This comes again very professionally and offers a lot of high -gloss images. The season, which has been available since August 26, comprises eight episodes. As in the first season, the Duchess receives one or more guests in each episode.
In addition to the house and garden rented for the shooting, other places will also be visited this time. For example, Meghan bumbles over a fish market with her guests, enjoys an evening by the sea or buys sea urchins at the harbor. Finally, Meghan then won the production team together with José Andrés. Because, as the Duchess says: “The crew is the heart of every production, nothing works without it.”
