Peter Kogler’s show “Alphabet City” (curated by Maria Venzl) illuminated a stay in New York 1985. A year earlier, he had started to artistically deal with the computer and its graphics programs. The cardboard objects created in New York, with their serial structures, fit seamlessly into later computer art, which he still produced at the time.
