At the beginning of summer, Tina Kaiser had to cope with the diagnosis of black skin cancer. Which came to the moderator afterwards.
This year, skin cancer was diagnosed with television and radio host Tina Kaiser (47). The partner Max Wiedemann (47) tells how she received the diagnosis and how she is doing today.
During a screening shortly before her family vacation to Japan, a doctor had on superficially removed and examined a conspicuous birthmark. She then received the diagnosis on vacation. “We were at dinner with our friends in Kyoto when I had several missed calls at around 11 p.m. After listening to the mailbox message, she said in the taxi loudly: “‘I have skin cancer.’ That was a shock for us. ” During a phone call, the doctor then informed her that it was black skin cancer in level 1.
From the airport, it went directly to the operation for her, where the birthmark was operated out. The procedure went well. Since the operation, she has planned to go to the dermatologist with her daughter once a year. “In the past I had to force Liv to apply it. Today she makes it out of her own,” says Kaiser. Due to the diagnosis of skin cancer, the moderator has also changed. “If I notice that something doesn’t work, then I see things more relaxed. I have noticed that I have no resilience that is concerned. […] So far my life has always been smooth. “
New chapter abroad
Tina Kaiser also already has new plans: “I go to Athens with my daughter for a long time,” says the moderator, who wants to make up for her “year abroad” that she has never done before. On the upcoming everyday family life, she says: “My daughter goes to an international school there, my partner commutes and I come home for jobs and preventive examinations.”
