Brother of Liam and Noel Gallagher on court for rape allegations
Paul Gallagher was never part of the Brit pop band Oasis, and he currently gives his headlines in a different way. While the brothers are on tour, he has to go to court.
The older brother of the musicians Liam and Noel Gallagher was quoted in court in London on Wednesday due to allegations of rape. Paul Gallagher only confirmed his name, age and address at the hearing in the British capital – otherwise he was silent. The 59-year-old is accused of rape and sexual coercion. He is also said to have spoken two threats of murder and have become violent.
Paul Gallagher was released against the deposit
The allegations refer to incidents between 2022 and 2024. Paul Gallagher was released at the court’s date for the deposit, and he is to be released again on September 24th.
After years of dispute, Liam and Noel Gallagher are currently on an international reunion tour, in which they appear together for the first time since the separation of their globally successful band Oasis in 2009. Paul was never part of the Britpop band. He is a year older than Noel and seven years older than Liam, all three grew together in Manchester.
