From Düsseldorf to Dubai: Verena Pooth has moved
Many stars have been moving to Dubai for years, now also Verena Pooth. The megacity in the Arab Emirates is richer around a dazzling name from Germany.
Verona Pooth has fulfilled a dream and moved to Dubai with her family. “I have already achieved so much in my life. Only that with abroad has not yet succeeded,” said the 57-year-old TV icon, who previously called Düsseldorf her home, in an interview with the magazine “Bunte”.
According to the report, she had always dreamed of a life in Los Angeles before. “In the end, Los Angeles failed due to the great time shift, jet lag and complicated flights – with Dubai the step was much easier.”

At Dubai, she appreciates that it is extremely safe there and that the city is a “service paradise”. “I also enjoy anonymity here, I’m also very happy about that.”
For them the time came to change their lives, Pooth said. “I am a workaholic, have been working for decades seven days a week”. She wanted to create a way to spend more time with her son Rocco. “Faster than you think he’s out of the house too.”
The moderator has two sons with her husband Franjo: Rocco and Diego. The older son Diego won the latest season of the dance show “Let’s Dance”. Verona Pooth was just seen in the Sat.1 reality show “Villa the Temptation”.
