Actor and TV star Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht no longer have to stay in Austria. The 33-year-old can move freely again around a week after the end of the process of unpaid hotel bill. “Everything was lifted,” confirmed the prosecutor Hansjörg Mayr. “The vow of taking a place of residence in Austria, accepting the travel papers and the deposited deposit.”
The “full freedom of movement” again confirmed Ochsenknecht’s lawyer Matthias Holzmann. “Mr. Ochsenknecht can now fully investigate his work in order to be able to pay the considerable fine of 18,000 euros as quickly as possible.”
The decision in the Austrian fraud process was made last Friday. The responsible judge imposed a fine of 18,000 euros, which Ochsenknecht accepted with his lawyer after just brief advice. He now has six months to pay the full amount. Only if this has happened did the procedure be officially and legally established.
The actor was accused of taking hotel services worth almost 14,000 euros in a hotel in Kirchberg at the end of 2021 and then not paid. On June 25, 2025, Ochsenknecht was arrested at the entry at Hamburg Airport. After that, he then settled the outstanding sum thanks to the help of his ex-partner Yeliz Koc, but it still came to the process.
