The Artisanal and related manufacturers association (AFADHYA) announced the officialization of the National Artisan Ice Cream Day for August 31. With this initiative, the organization celebrates a day to honor the authentic artisanal production and reaffirms its role as a reference, promoting the values ​​that define the product.

The date was established in reference to the fact that on August 31, 1972 the founding act of the Association was signed. “For years, Afadhya has been promoting this celebration and We are very proud that our partners and fans of the Argentine artisanal ice cream are at last a date to honor it “, its president Maximiliano Maccarrone argued.

A story that began 53 years ago

According to the latest market research, the average per capita consumption of Argentines is 7.3 kg, with 10 kg peaks in high season. The last study by AFADHYA together with the Consultant d’Alessio Irolalso showed that:
