The official synopsis says: “The carpenter are tells the dark history of a family that hides in the Roman Egypt. The son, known simply as the child, gets carried away by the doubt before another mysterious child and rebels against his tutor, the carpenter, revealing innate powers and a destination that escapes his understanding. While exercising his own power, the child and his family become the white Divine ”.
Unlike other biblical films, this story is inspired by the controversial Gospel of Tomás Childhood, an apocryphal text of the second century. The plot follows Jesus, known only as the child, while discovering innate powers and faces horrors that put his family at risk, hidden in Roman Egypt.
The premiere in the United States is scheduled for this spring of 2025
