Tragic death in October 2024
Liam Payne died on October 16, 2024 at the age of 31 after falling from a balcony from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires. The Argentine authorities initiated a comprehensive examination in which several people were charged with the death of the singer.
According to the public prosecutor, forensic doctors consider it likely that he passed out while trying to climb over the balcony railing. An autopsy has proven alcohol and cocaine in large quantities. According to the investigators, the fatal fall was not a suicide.
