The British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay makes public that basal cell carcinoma had to be removed on the head.
Gordon Ramsay (58) had to go under the knife! In the British chef and restaurateur, which is also known from many TV formats such as “Hell’s Kitchen”, “Kitchen Nightmares” or “Master’s Chief”, basal cell carcinoma was removed on the head ,.
Ramsay released two pictures on August 30 on the social media platform. One shows him with a large patch on the side of his head. In the second photo, the sewn wound can be seen directly under his left ear. He was very grateful to the “incredible team”, which was responsible for him – and he appreciated that the basal cell carcinoma was quickly removed.
Gordon Ramsay: Don’t forget sunscreen!
“Please don’t forget your sunscreen this weekend,” Ramsay writes to his currently around 19.2 million followers. He gives an important tip to protect against white skin cancer. Despite the procedure, the cook, which is very direct for its quick -wence and sometimes very direct kind, is apparently still joking. He could promise “that it is not a facelifting”. Then he would ask for him to get his money back.
Basal cell carcinoma, including basalioma, is a kind of skin cancer. According to the health insurance companies and in Germany, it is the most common skin tumor or the most frequently occurring, malignant cancer in Central Europe. In many cases, basal cell carcinomas are easily curable in the event of detection. Usually the basalioma is surgically removed, i.e. cut out. Often it arises in places that are increasingly exposed to the sun, including on the face or neck.
