Reinhold Messner marries Diane for the second time
The couple renewed their marriage vow in India. It was magical and mystical, said the 80-year-old. The extreme mountaineer lives with his wife (45) in South Tyrol.
Extreme mountaineer Reinhold Messner and his wife Diane have said yes a second time. As the 80-year-old announced on Instagram to his hundreds of thousands of followers, the ceremony took place in India. “It was magical, mystical. Only we both. Because together, in loneliness, we are best,” Messner wrote. “We enjoy the society of other people. But sometimes life is reduced to its purest form: only we both, side by side, stronger than the world around us.” In the published photo, the couple can be seen in white shirts how it looks lovingly in the eye.
Life between South Tyrol and India
Messner lives with his 45 -year -old wife in South Tyrol, where both feel at home – as well as in India, as the mountaineer continues. Then she “deeply impressed modesty and culture”. The two have been a couple since 2019 and had married relationships after a year and a half.
