Princess Diana died 28 years ago. Her brother Charles visits his sister’s last resting place on her day of death.
Princess Diana (1961-1997) remains unforgettable even 28 years after her tragic death. On her day of death, on August 31, her younger brother visited his sister’s grave with special flowers.
Diana, the mother of Prince William (43) and Prince Harry (40), died in 1997 from the consequences of a car accident in Paris. A few days later, she found her final resting place on a small island in the park at the Althorp House estate, which was her parents’ house.
Always “an impossible day” for Diana’s brother Charles Spencer
Her brother Charles Spencer (61), 9th Earl Spencer, released on Sunday. A bouquet of flowers is shown on one of the photos, on the other a small bridge can be seen that apparently leads to the island.
The bouquet of flowers does not simply come from an arbitrary business. “Flowers that we cut into the Althorp gardens for the island this morning,” writes Diana’s younger brother about the recordings. He does not lose many more words, but expresses how difficult his sister’s death is for him: “Always an impossible day.”
Fans of the late princess Diana meanwhile gathered in front of a goal of the Kensington Palace and, among other things, put flowers down or also left photos and news. Under one of the pictures of Lady Di it was read: “In a loving memory of a life that continues to inspire us. Missed forever, forever.”
