Through Resolution 556/2025, published on Monday in the Official Gazette, the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts announced the six selected projects that will be supported within the framework of the contest for directors who seek to make their first fiction feature film.
He National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) declared Monday to Winners of the “Opera Prima 2024” contestconvened through resolution 715/2024 and its 4/2025 amendment, aimed at producers and directors who aspire to film their first fiction feature film.
The measure was formalized through Resolution 556/2025, published in the Official Gazette, where the six projects selected by the jury of the contest are detailed:

The “Prima Opera” contest is part of the promotion policies provided for in the Film Law No. 17,741, which empowers the Incaa to sponsor contests and award awards to promote the development of new talents and cultural diversity in national audiovisual production.
According to the act signed on August 6, 2025, the jury evaluated the projects and the sub -management of budgetary and financial management reported that the winners do not register debts with the agency. The resolution also indicates that the sub -management of promotion, public policies management, general management and the Legal Affairs Management of the Institute intervened in the process.
With this announcement, INCAA advances in the accompaniment of novel directors and producers throughout the country, consolidating a scheme of support for new looks within Argentine cinema.
