At seven concerts, Herbert Grönemeyer presents hits in a new acoustic arrangement in September. It starts with five shows in Dortmund – the fans there he already makes an announcement on the platform.
Herbert Grönemeyer will be guests in Dortmund for five acoustic concerts from this Tuesday. The concert dates in the Westfalenhalle (2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th), in which the singer is guest on the occasion of the 100th birthday of the traditional venue, are just as fully sold out as the following concerts of the small unplugged series in the Berlin Velodrom (September 11th and 12th), as the concert organizer announced.
Under the motto “Right in the middle – acoustically”, Grönemeyer will present selected hits of his career in newly arranged unplugged versions – “the whole thing with orchestra and finely”, Grönemeyer had announced at the start of advance. The stage is set up in the middle of the hall. Grönemeyer’s second unplugged album also appeared in mid-October (there was a first 30 years ago).
Herbert Grönemeyer makes announcement
S-Bahn travelers to Dortmund expect a special acoustic greeting at the Dortmund main train station on the concert days: “Welcome to the beautiful Ruhr area”, Herbert Grönemeyer turns to his guests in front of the evening concerts, as the Deutsche Bahn announced.
In the short message, he also calls for caution and consideration on the way to the concerts – and wish everyone that they come home safely and “dancing” after the end of the concert.
Herbert Grönemeyer, who grew up in Bochum and worked at the Schauspielhaus there, understands himself as a child of the Ruhr area – and is often a musical guest here.
Already his tour for the 40th anniversary of the album “4630 Bochum” had led him to several sold -out concerts to the Bochum football stadium. It was only this summer that he conducted the Bochum symphonists at several concerts.
