Bill and Tom Kaulitz: From the East German wasteland to Heidi Klum and to Hollywood

It is a place where Bill and Tom Kaulitz not only have good memories: Loitsche near Magdeburg. The identical twins grew up Simone with her mother. The parents were actually separated in their conception, Bill Kaulitz wrote a few years ago in his autobiography “Career Suicide – my first thirty years”. Loitsche, the place of his youth, described Kaulitz in his book as “600 uninspired souls, absolute sadness”. The Kaulitz twins found a way out of the sadness in the music that she led to her stepfather. At the age of only 13 they got their first music contract

With his attitude to life and inner peace, he “never felt more comfortable and better than now,” said the Tokyo Hotel front man. “I am really so happy with my job, with my career, but also with my private life. I was never actually.” He wishes that everything should stay the way it is now. But: “Of course I would like to fall in love, that’s always nice. I would also like to marry, but I’m not unhappy either if that didn’t happen. I think it would be a nice add -on and nothing that I make my luck – but a man would be this little cherry on the cream.”
