The legendary editor -in -chief appointed Chloe Malle as the new Head of Editorial Content – a position that Malle is taking over from now on.

“When it came to finding someone for the management of the American ‘Vogue’ and enabling me to concentrate more intensely on ‘Vogues’ complex growth across our global target groups, I knew that I had only one chance to do it,” said Wintour in an internal communication to the “Vogue” team ,.

From the podcast host to the boss

Chloe Malle, who is already known as co-moderator of the successful “Vogue” podcast “The Run-Through” and as editor-in-chief of “Vogue.com”, has 14 years of experience with the magazine. Since she started as a social editor in 2011, she has worked through all areas of the media group – from print to digital to events and social media.

Particularly impressive: Since Chloe Malle took over the management of “vogue.com” in autumn 2023, direct traffic doubled to the website. All important key figures – from calls to length of stay – recorded two -digit growth rates, especially about major events such as the Met Gala and Vogue World.

Chloe Malle: The “secret weapon” with foresight

“Chloe has long been one of ‘Vogues’ secret weapons when it comes to fashion trends,” enthuses Wintour about her successor. “But it is not so deeply rooted in the industry that it loses a look for the big picture: Like the best designers, she understands fashion in her entire context – as a force that not only determines what is shown on the catwalks, but that shapes the entire lifestyle of our time.”

Malle himself is overwhelmed by the new task: “Fashion and media both develop at breathtaking speed, and I am so enthusiastic – and awesome – to be part of it,” she told the magazine. At the same time, she emphasizes her gratitude: “I feel incredibly privileged that Anna continues to have my mentor right next door.”
