“Bridgerton” star Simone Ashley: She turtles in the stands of the US Open

At the US Open in New York, not only the events on the Center Court were of interest: “Bridgerton” star Simone Ashley (30) caused a sensation on Monday evening when they were passionately kissed with an unknown man.

While Jannik Sinners (24) ran Match, the British actress apparently only had eyes for her companion. The 30-year-old appeared in a beige sweater and white jeans for the tennis event. Her mysterious companion presented herself in a white shirt – both looked visibly familiar with each other.

Ashley only fueled the rumor mill last month when she was spotted with “Dawson’s Creek” star Joshua Jackson (47) in New York. The two walked relaxed through the streets of the metropolis and looked quite familiar. However, they did not show any public love.

The meeting ensured plenty of speculation, especially since the two actors had never been seen together before. At the same time, Jackson and his former “Dawson’s Creek” colleague Katie Holmes (46) were shooting the film “Happy Hours” in New York.

Jackson has been divorced by Jodie Turner-Smith (38) for two years. Ashley has been a single since January of this year. After almost three years, she separated from her friend Constantin Klein. The Netflix star for the first time in November 2022 indicated her love for him in an interview with the British “Vogue”. At that time she said she was “very happy”. About half a year later, in March 2023, Ashley and Klein confirmed their relationship with an Instagram post.

Simone Ashley initially made a name for herself in the Netflix series “Sex Education” before becoming an international star as a Kate Sharma in “Bridgerton”. The series even opened the doors to Hollywood productions: it will be seen in “The devil wears Prada 2”. The sequel to Anne Hathaway (42) and Meryl Streep (76) is scheduled to come to German cinemas in spring 2026.
