The hospital comedy “Scrubs” comes back. Now it is clear that in addition to the main actors, an important supporting role is again filled with a well -known face.
After a new edition of the doctors comedy “Scrubs” has already been announced in July, it is now clear that another well-known face will return: Oberswester Carla Espinosa, played by Judy Reyes (57), will also be on board the series again. She strengthens Zach Braff (50) in the role as John Dorian (JD) and Donald Faison (51) as a surgeon Christopher Turk. Reyes’ rejection was initially unclear due to a parallel leading role in the crime comedy “High Potential”, reports the “Deadline”.
Braff and the US broadcaster ABC had agreed on a deal for a new edition of the series in May. It initially ran in the United States from 2001 to 2010 for seven seasons at NBC and later at ABC, where the new edition is also to be shown. ProSieben had broadcast the comedy in Germany.
