For years, Elton and Bernhard Hoëcker have been in the quiz show “Who knows something like that?” competed against each other. So it is over, because Elton said bye. And who says “Moin”?
Wotan Wilke Möhring will be the new Elton in the quiz show “Who knows something like that?”. The actor, known from the north German “crime scene”, is the second team captain alongside Ratefuchs and “Who knows something like that?”-Veteran Bernhard Hoëcker, as the ARD program directorate said. He is now looking forward to “a lot of new knowledge, funny questions and lots of fun,” said Möhring of the German Press Agency (dpa) in Hamburg. The 58-year-old has previously been a guest in the popular council.
After the farewell to Elton, Möhring was the candidate of your choice right from the start, said moderator Kai Pflaum of the dpa. “Wotan is a super likeable person with a heart. He brings everything you need for a good team captain: humor, knowledge, ambition and a lot of desire to answer tricky questions together with our guests.” Bernhard Hoëcker was also immediately convinced. “I immediately had this” great, very happy “feeling. And now I’m looking forward to every single show. “
Hoëcker: Have fun instead of putting pressure
Hoëcker also has a tip for the new team captain: “Just have fun. We are not in high -performance sport, where you have to worry about staying in the team after every defeat. We are about entertainment and fun. If you go into such a broadcast, you will only be cramped anyway.”
Elton was adopted in the quiz team in April after ten years. He wanted to have more time for himself, his family and friends.
The new episodes of the quiz show will be shown in the first on October 13, on weekdays, 6 p.m. Already on Saturday there is 8:15 pm “Who knows something XXL”. The quiz show has been well received by the audience for years. Season 11, according to the information, reached new best values with an average of 20.2 percent market share in the overall audience and 14.6 percent in the target group of 20 to 59-year-olds.
