Natascha Ochsenknecht has commented on her son Jimi Blue’s conviction and now sees him more responsibility than ever.
Around two weeks ago, actor Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (33) in Austria was sentenced to a fine of 18,000 euros for fraud. In conversation with the magazine “Bunte” and some distance to the turmoil, his mother Natascha Ochsenknecht (61) looks back on the process and its consequences. She also talked about the interim dusting within the family.
In contrast to his calm brother Wilson Gonzalez (35) and the Cheyenne (25), which was sometimes broken up, Jimi Blue is “the stubborn” among her three children. From experience, she therefore knew that she had to give him his freedom, even if it had a hard time as a mother: “The time in which he averted from the family was difficult for me. I thought he was.”
Of course, the serious allegations against her son were added stressfully. After Jimi Blue was accused of having cheated over 14,000 euros, in June 2025 there was initially arrest, then to deliver to Austria and finally there for conviction for fraud.
Uwe and she is not to blame
In the interview, Natascha Ochsenknecht makes it clear that all of her children “always open”. At the same time, it also makes it clear that the ability to take responsibility for your own actions is an important part of her upbringing. Jimi Blue must therefore carry the consequences of the court process alone “and also pay for the damage financially. And 18,000 euros are a lot of money.”
Meanwhile, she finds the accusation that Jimi Blues could be due to poor upbringing, she finds “ridiculous” and explains that in her opinion, it is not “automatically the parents’ fault when something goes wrong with children”. Especially not if you have long since grown up like Jimi Blue and stand on your own feet. Both you and your ex-husband Uwe Ochsenknecht (69) are “always for you there, talked to you, stayed on the floor”. However, it cannot be avoided that children “get into strange circles, false friends or partners”.
