Amira Alys Sons are only four and five, but already have her own head fashionably, the moderator reveals at an event in Berlin.

House building, move, children and job – Amira Aly (32) currently has his hands full. Shortly after her TV premiere with her partner Christian Düren (35) and the joint show “Germany’s Dümmster celebrity”, the 32-year-old visited the 15-year anniversary event by designer Outlet Berlin.

“It is really not easy to find time for shopping with all the hustle and bustle with house construction, move, children and job,” laughs the mother of two and talks about fashion trends, fashion role models and the special shoe stick of their five and four-year-old sons in the lifestyle interview.

Amira Aly: In the morning after breakfast there is a coffee to go, then go into the car – mostly in column with a family or friends – and off to the city. There is a bit of strolling and eating tasty at noon. Most of the time, however, I am quite quick to shop because I am super decision -making. I actually know what I like – that saves time and nerves.

Do you enjoy shopping for yourself or for your sons?

Aly: When I was pregnant with my first child, my friends said: “Wait, shop for the child will be more fun for your child at some point than for yourself.” And what can I say – you were totally right! I love to choose nice things for the boys. Although I have to say: You are super uncomplicated and love your three favorite outfits. That’s why I stopped buying special or chic things at some point – they don’t have half as much fun as me.

Do your boys already have their own ideas when it comes to clothes?

Aly: Oh yes – and how! I hardly have a say in the meantime. They are totally peculiar to shoes. Even if they press or have long been too small – they just don’t want to part with their favorite shoes. Buying new ones is really not easy. But I also think it’s nice to see how they develop their own taste.

How has your own style changed since she was a mother?

Aly: It has to be comfortable, very clear! When I’m on the road with the children, I want to be able to move freely. I also like to play on the playground and have to expect to be full of mud or sand at any time when I go home. Practically there is the top priority, but I still don’t want to do without a certain style. That is why it is sometimes a very special feeling for me when I’m on the road without the children and wear something fancier, I really enjoy that!

Aly: My two -part from my own collection – a classic dandy look. It is totally comfortable, but still has a strong, special effect. I just love this combination of comfort and charisma. I immediately feel confident and really well dressed in it.

Where do you get your fashion inspirations?

Aly: I like to see what happens internationally on social media – especially with fashion influencers. You often discover completely new station wagons, trends or just cool looks that you would never have come up with. I love to be inspired by Instagram or Pinterest by various styles.

Who are their fashion role models, which style do they admire?

Aly: To be honest, I don’t have a single star that I completely emulate – but there are a few personalities whose style I find totally exciting. For example, I love the style of Hailey Bieber – Clean, cool and always on point. In general, I find it exciting when someone has their own look and wears it confidently – that inspires me much more than pure trends.

Do you sometimes advise your partner on fashion issues?

Aly: Yes, yes! Sometimes he also asks me directly whether something fits together or how I find an outfit and then of course I like to give my mustard. But I have to say that he really has a good feeling for fashion and his own style, so he doesn’t really need my help.

Do you coordinate your outfits when it comes to the red carpet together?

Aly: A little bit – so we don’t make a partner look or something now, but it should already look coherent together. For example, if I know that I wear something very elegant or conspicuous, then let’s see that his look goes well with it – and vice versa. In the end it should simply result in a beautiful overall picture. But it is important to us that it still remains authentic.

What is an absolute fashion no-go for you?

Aly: For me, a no -go is to adjust completely – just because something is just a trend. You should still feel comfortable and real in what you are wearing. And what I also find difficult: If you want to show too many brands at once – it quickly seems overloaded. I definitely learned from the past: less is sometimes really more.
