Released in June, the director Danny Boyle resumed the franchise that began with 28 Days Later (2002) with the third installment of the series. Set almost three decades after an outbreak of zombies that destroyed society, it focuses on a group of survivors living on an isolated island.
When a father and his son venture outside the island for a ritual of majority, they make the shocking discovery that there has been a mutation in the virus, which has resulted in a stronger and more intelligent zombie known as “Alfa.”

Directed by Nia Dacosta, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple That story continues, taking up the characters returning Spike (Alfie Williams), Dr. Ian Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) and Sir Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell), The mysterious leader revealed in the unexpected end of the last film.
The clip focuses mainly on Kelson, showing details of his life before the outbreak and what he does to survive. There is also a taking of him facing “Alfa”.
The trailer offers eyes to the cult of Sir Jimmy Crystal, where the paths of both characters seem to cross. The disturbing advance is narrated by a radio transmission that speaks of the future.
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple It opens in cinemas on January 15, 2026. A sequel to The Bone Temple, which completes the trilogy, is in development.
