The band led by Damon Albarn advanced with a live show what will be their ninth studio album.
Last night, fans went to the Copper Box Arena in London for the fourth and last night of the exhibition presentations “House of Kong” of Gorillazwhich celebrated the 25th anniversary of the animated band of Damon Albarn. Although in previous presentations the band performed some of its most iconic albums in its entirety, the presentation last night was something totally special for the attendees since it was the presentation of their next album.

The Arab orchestra of London, Demon Strings, Chris Storr, James Copus and Matthew Gunner were the outstanding musicians, while deceased artists like Dennis Hopper, Bobby Womack, Dave Jolicoeur De De la Soul, Tony Allen, Proof and the deceased Mark E Smith The Fall are considered as Voices of Elsewhere.
As for the album itself, fans have described it as “Absolutely impressive”and one of them wrote: “The sound landscape of this album does not resemble anything that has heard of this band … an almost perfect album. Gorillaz really surpassed this. 10/10”.
Another wrote that the album “has many Indian melodies”, while others in Reddit said that it also included other influences from southern Asia, Middle East and the world; However, this should not surprise fans, since Albarn previously said in July that the “Gorillaz’s new album is in four languages”.
