Jason Momoa appeared extravagant in Birkenstocks and with pink painted toenails at the Venice premiere of his latest film.
Jason Momoa (46) took everyone at the world premiere of his new film “In The Hand of Dante” in Venice. The Masculine Hollywood Hüne appeared on the red carpet of the Venice International Film Festival on Wednesday evening from head to toe in pink. In this context, the word foot also refers to the color of Momoa’s toenails, because the star wore on the Red Carpet Pink Birkenstock sandals, which exposed his pink nails.
Jason Momoa shows toenails in Venice
“I have my birch sticks and my ugly feet, but they are painted!” Said Momoa, which he himself turned on the red carpet on the lido. A pink jacket and a matching pants completed the extravagant outfit.
In Venice, Momoa ran together with his co-stars from “In The Hand of Dante” such as Oscar Isaac (46) or Italo-western legend Franco Nero (83) over the Red Carpet. His 16-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf Momoa, whose mother is Momoa’s ex-wife Lisa Bonet (57), was also present at the event.
Father and son currently stand together for the third “Dune” part “Dune: Part Three” in front of the camera. Nakoa-Wolf embodies the work of Denis Villeneuve (57) Leto II, the son of Paul Areides (Timothée Chalamet, 29) and Chani (Zendaya, 29). Momoa plays a clone of his figure Duncan Idaho, which can already be seen in “Dune”.
The teenager also chose an outfit that matched his father for the performance. He wore a short-sleeved shirt with a pink-black flower pressure, also combined black trousers. However, Nakoa-Wolf did not show his toes.
That’s what “In The Hand of Dante” is about
“In the Hand of Dante” by director Julian Schnabel (73) plays at two time levels: in the 14th and 21st centuries. It is about the author Nick Tosches (Isaac), who is hired by the mafia sponsor Don (Franco Nero) to steal an extremely valuable copy of Dantes “Divine Comedy” together with an order murderer named Louie (Gerard Butler, 55).
In addition to the aforementioned mentioned, Gal Gadot (40), John Malkovich (71), directorial legend Martin Scorsese (82) and Al Pacino (85) also play in “In The Hand of Dante”. Some actors such as Oscar Isaac or Gerard Butler also embody double roles.
