The bullet continues: The band Foreigner wants to play at the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Such offers are likely to get Taylor Swift (35) and Travis Kelce (35) more often in the coming weeks and months. After the couple recently made their engagement public, the band Foreigner band, particularly successful in the 70s and 80s, would like to perform at the wedding of the two.
You know what love is
“Dear Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, we know what love is” in an “open letter” to the singer and the American football star. “We have spent 40 years to find out … and now you have made it too,” the band alludes to its biggest hit, the 1984 power ballad “I Want To Know What Love Is”. This is the official offer of Foreigner to “be your wedding band”. Will Swift and Kelce go into it?
After the couple’s engagement, the other applications had already existed. As a “perfect place” for the ceremony, the Veltins-Arena with its chapel in Gelsenkirchen, for example, had brought itself into play as a wedding location. The New Zealand tourism authority: “We believe that the Swifties would agree: it is the perfect backdrop for a ‘yes, I want’ with star guests.”
Too soon, Swift and Kelce do not want to get married yet. An insider from the surroundings of the two should that the couple currently want to “just enjoy the engagement and take the time with it”. The two were “not yet in the phase of wedding preparations”.
