At the age of just 15, Zahide Kayaci, also known as Zah1de on the net, is already on stage, raps in front of a million audience on TikKOK and at the same time presses the school desk. But who is the girl behind the hype – and how did she make it so far?

Her career begins by accident in 2023: Zahide posts dance videos with her crew at the Berlin dance school in Lunatix. But it quickly becomes clear that she can do more than just choreographies and real entertainment potential. Your energy, your voice and your sense of trends ensure that your clips on Tikkok go viral.

This also made a trend that became internationally known: fans of the teenager made them aware of them with comments such as “Zah1de Did it Better” or “Zah1de Won this trend” and created a viral insider that suddenly became their trademark.

Labels become attentive and at the end of 2024 she signs a contract with Universal Music. Only a few months later appears – a song that becomes a phenomenon directly on the platform. The next single, “shoots on silently”, even catapulted Zahide in the German charts (38th place) in early 2025. With “Mona Lisa Motion” she makes her breakthrough: The track ends up in the top 10 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, millions also hear the song thanks to a viral mashup with cros “once around the world”.

In May 2025, Zahide plays with her own meme and publishes the single “Zahide Did It Better” – a confident Move that finally makes her a voice of her generation. Today, more than 8.5 million people follow her on Tikkok and over 700,000 on Instagram. Her videos generate millions of views, and their songs stream up at record speed.

Despite the success, Zahide remains a 15-year-old who also goes to school. “I always try to do my best at school – of course there are days when I am not so motivated and my head may be somewhere else, but in the end it works very well,” she says.

When asked whether she feels more in the classroom or on stage, she replies without hesitation: “I feel comfortable in both places because I always have people around me who make me happy. Be it at school with my friends or on stage with my crew.”

Nevertheless, she does not hide her problems with the double load. “Sometimes I just distract myself with something, scroop through Tikk or briefly with a friend. But with math … Honestly: I accepted that it is simply not my subject.” But her heart beats all the more for ethics and art. Subjects in which creativity and reflection are required – perhaps also a reason why it looks so authentic in her music.

Zahide knows that many young people on Tikkok dream of the big breakthrough. Her message: “Everyone has something special. What is important is what you make of it. Have courage to stay true to yourself, to follow your passion and to believe in you. Give in everything, also at school, your best. You can!”
