The success series “Club of the Red Bands” comes back with new heroine. VOX announced the start of filming in the surrounding area of ​​Cologne. “The story begins again, but the invisible band, which once made the club so special, remains: five young people who meet in the fight against serious illnesses grow together and found an alliance that is stronger than any diagnosis.”



The main roles are taken over by a group of young talents: In addition to Greta Krämer (“look in the sun”) and Jona Levin Nicolai (“No word”), these are Yoran Leicher (“The House of Dreams”), Mariama Jobe (“The Drei !!!”) and Voicu Dumitras (“Hackerville”). The broadcast of the new edition “Club of Red Bands – The New Generation” is planned for 2026 at VOX and on RTL+.

“Club of the Red Bands” – an adaptation of a Spanish format – started at VOX in 2015 and was one of the most successful youth series in the ten years. It was showered with prices. For Damian Hardung, the series was the springboard to an international career, his colleague Tim Oliver Schultz received the Grimme Prize for the representation of a young man with cancer.
