Support with a sea of flowers
“I think and say we said goodbye to mom,” he said to the funeral that took place in the closest friend and family. The most important thing about the ceremony was flowers, because, according to Mross literally: “She was full of a whole garden. With roses. That was always the holy for her where she thought of dad.”
Mross’ father Eberhard Mross died in 2010 at the end of a cancer at the age of 68.
As the “Bild” newspaper reports, mother Stefanie suffered from dementia in her final years of life and was cared for in a home. However, their children often visited them there. “She recently had a nice life in her own world. Without pain,” Mross looks back on this time.
After the death, the popular entertainer first ceded the moderation of his hit show “again and again on Sundays” for a program to his ex-wife Stefanie Hertel (46). The SWR said at the end of August that MROSS took “a family break to be in the circle of its loved ones in difficult hours”.
A week later, however, he returned to the season finale in the Europa-Park in Rust. In moving words, he reminded of his parents: “It was very important to my mom – also my dad, who went from us almost for the same day 15 years ago – that I can simply make people happy. And that’s why I’m here with a little smile,” said Mross on the show.
