Drew Barrymore: Daughter was in the hospital after e-bike accident

The actress Drew Barrymore (50) spoke about a dramatic accident on her daughter during the family vacation in France. The actress previously had to cancel a planned appointment with the wife of TV presenter Stephen Colbert (61) because her daughter was in the hospital for days after an e-bike crash.

“My daughter had an accident, “.. “She had an e-bike accident. In France, which sounds so fabulous,” joked the mother of two about the actually dramatic circumstances. The accident occurred during a family vacation.

Barrymore was particularly impressed by her daughter’s reaction after the severe fall. “She was about a mile outside in the mountains and tore up the whole elbow. We spent days in an emergency room,” the actress described the stressful moments.

What followed was impressed by the experienced mother: “But she tore off her bra and bound her arm.” Colbert then praised that Barrymore had raised her daughters correctly and asked if she had prepared her daughter for such situations. “No! The 50-year-old is the mother of the daughters Frankie (11) and Olive (12). Both daughters are the common children of Drew Barrymore and her ex-husband, the art consultant Will Kopelman (47). In addition to the accident, Barrymore is currently also preparing for an important milestone in the life of her older daughter.
