In a few days, Annalena Baerbock will start her new post as President of the UN General Assembly. With a video in the “Sex and the City” style, she is already ready.
A few days before she took office as President of the UN General Assembly, former Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock registered with a video in the “Sex and the City” style from New York. Baerbock wave a yellow taxi in the video published on her Instagram profile in Jeans, Blazer and High Heels, gets in, writes something in a notebook, drives past the main building of the United Nations in Manhattan and then gets out again.
The New York anthem “Empire State of Mind” by Alicia Keys and Jay-Z runs. The 44-year-old Green politician titled the video with “Are You Ready?” (Are you ready?). In the cult series “Sex and the City” Sarah Jessica Parker, as Carrie Bradshaw, had repeatedly waved up in high heels taxis.
On Tuesday, Baerbock, who was Federal Foreign Minister until May, officially competes as President of the United Nations General Assembly. The top position is primarily given to protocol importance-it should not be confused with the role of UN General Secretary António Guterres.
