Second appointment on UK trips

Prince Harry is expanding his stay in England by another appointment. The speculations about a meeting with King Charles stop.

Prince Harry (40) is before he returned to Great Britain. He has now added another important date to visit his homeland.

The Duke of Sussex will announce a donation to “Children in Need” next Tuesday in Nottingham. Financial support is intended to promote projects that are devoted to the fight against violence and their effects on young people.

Harry will visit the Community Reciting Studio (CRS), a facility that trains young people in film, video and music production. In addition to the donation announcement, confidential discussions with representatives of Children in Need, the police, the CRS and the young people themselves are planned. Live appearances of local artists are also on the program before Harry himself will give a short speech.

Harry is already expected in London on Monday, where he takes part in the annual award ceremony of Wellchild. This has already been. The organization supports seriously ill children and their families – a heart concern of the Duke, who has been a patron for 17 years.

In a statement, Harry emphasized: “It is always an honor for me to take part in the Wellchild Awards and to meet the incredible children, families and specialists who inspire all of us with their strength and mind.” The date of the event bears a melancholy note: September 8 marks the third anniversary of the death of his beloved grandmother Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022). For Harry on Wednesday and Thursday there are other private meetings with its charity organizations and patients.

Royal reconciliation continues to be uncertain

While Harry focuses on charitable purposes, the rumor mill is bubbling in the background for a possible approach to the royal family. Neither the Buckingham Palace nor Harry’s team commented on a possible meeting between Harry and his father King Charles (76).

The 40 -year -old, who has lived with his wife Meghan (44) and the two children in California since 2020, had recently entered British soil in April – but at that time only for a court hearing about his personal protection.
