Thomas Ohrner got engaged with his girlfriend Anne Arnholdt

Actor and moderator Thomas Ohrner got engaged with his partner Anne Arnholdt – against a particularly romantic setting. He held around her hand in a baroque hall in the mountains and accompanied by Lady Gagas and Bruno Mars’ “The With A Smile”. In conversation with the magazine “Bunte” Arnhold enthuses about the application: “Nobody has ever done something nice for me.”

Champagne and a chic dinner were also ready for the two. The hall was decorated with flowers and candles. “Maybe a little cheesy,” says Ohrner, “but that’s how I imagined it. A little Hollywood can be in life.” He didn’t want to do without it. Arnholdt nothing of revealing his plans was difficult. “We really talk about everything,” says Ohrner. Once he almost spoiled the surprise.

The big question asked Ohrner after three years. “I just found that it was time and that our love deserves a statement,” explains the “Timm Thaler” star. He wanted to tackle the last chapter of our life with Arnholdt “at my side”. He sees marriage as a promise that goes beyond living together.

His four children knew about his application plans. “It was very important to me to ask them all individually beforehand, but they all like Anne very much and encouraged me in my project.” The former children’s star has two daughters and a son from his previous marriage to Marion Ohrner. In August 2024 they divorced. Another daughter comes from a first marriage. Arnholdt has three children.

In conversation, Ohrner also tells how love has changed over time. “Such a love of more mature age is different, you are much more conscious in everything. I deal with my partner much more attentively and tender than I used to be,” said the radio presenter. Nowadays he feels “a different quality of love, and that’s beautiful”.

“We are now in a different phase of life and can concentrate very much on ourselves,” agrees Arnholdt. For them it was out of the question to admit love for their fiance. “There was this man – and very quickly a great feeling of love. There was nothing to hide from the start, we put all feelings open to others, talk about everything,” said Arnholdt. She had never felt so intense before.

The couple got to know each other in an S-Bahn. As Ohrner revealed, he was not actively looking for love at the time. At their first encounter you still had to wear masks. He had forgotten to raise his and asked him if he was a refusal to vaccinate: “I found that very humorous start.” Ohrner was allowed to determine that “at first glance at first glance and I don’t need dating platforms at first glance”.
