It was speculated for a long time, now it has worked: King Charles met Prince Harry in London. What’s next?
Prince Harry (40) and King Charles III. (76) met in London. that the monarch during a 50-minute visit to the Royal Residence Clarence House with his son “drank privately tea”.
His father is “great”, the Duke of Sussex is said to have announced afterwards. According to the British media reports, Prince Harry looked in a good mood after the meeting with King Charles when he showed himself at a reception for Invictus Games.
Is there recovering between Prince Harry and his family?
The meeting of Prince Harry and King Charles is considered the first step to improve relationships between father and son. It was her first reunion for over a year. Prince Harry moved to the USA with his wife Duchess Meghan (44) in 2020, and since then the relationship with his family has been considered tense. Harry and Meghan live with the two children Archie (6) and Lilibet (4) in California.
The fact that Prince Harry and his father Charles have now talked for almost an hour is also a good sign. The Royals apparently spoke to each other much longer than at their last meeting. In February 2024, the two met after the monarch announced his cancer diagnosis. This conversation allegedly only lasted 30 minutes. The fact that Prince Harry meets his current London visit – for charity events in his homeland – also meets his older brother Prince William (43) is unlikely.
The relationship between the two brothers seems to be destroyed by the public attacks by the Sussexes on the royal house. In addition to interviews and a Netflix documentary, Harry also revealed many details about his family in his autobiography “Spare”.
