The winning actor of three Awards Oscar returns to the performance with “Anemone”, a film directed by his son Ronan.

Day-Lewis spoke with Rolling Stone to promote Anemone, his son’s first feature film, Ronan Day-Lewis. The film is presented as an exploration of the complex and deep links that exist between brothers, parents and children. His plot has remained secret and was not entirely clear in his first trailer, which presents Daniel Day-Lewis Like Ray Stoker, a man who fights with his past in a rainy, isolated and wooded place. Anemone is the first Day-Lewis movie from The ghost thread 2017.
The veteran actor said he had “certain reservations about returning to the public world.”
“Red made it very clear that I would not do it if I didn’t. But we had a lot of fun writing this story together, and I think it was with the spirit of keeping the ball in the air that we think: ‘We will continue with this, whatever happens,'” he said.
Aneémone will be screened at the New York and London Film Festivals. Focus will premiere the film in limited format on October 3 and will expand it on October 10 in the United States.
