During his visit to England’s capital, Prince Harry plays with seriously ill children. On the side he finds rare words for his brother, Prince William.
Prince Harry was a guest at the award ceremony for the British charity organization, which takes care of seriously ill children. The Royal has been the patron of the organization since 2007. At the event in London, he showed himself from his particularly playful side. He also lost rare words about the relationship with William.
Harry met this year’s award winners and their families at the event. Especially a moment stitched: Some photos show how the royal is an exuberant “balloon sword” battle with the nine-year-old Gwen Foster, who lives with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. Harry threw his balloon sword into the air with dramatic gestures while the girl cleverly hit back.
Other touching scenes were created when Harry staged a balloon tower challenge with the 13-year-old Grace Tutt, bent down for a familiar conversation with the six-year Esmee McGlinchey and personally welcomed the young Declan Bitmead.
Prince Harry is reminiscent of Lady Diana
The pictures are strongly reminiscent of the playfulness and warmth that Harry already showed during his time as a working member of the royal family-and a warm heart that also honored his mother Princess Diana (1961-1997).
In the Wellchild Awards, Harry seemed particularly touched by a gift: a personalized jersey of the Brighton and Hove Albion football club called “Archie” and number 6 – probably an allusion to the age of his son.
Harry, who kept his patronage for Wellchild from his royal duties even after retreating, also gave an emotional speech at the award ceremony and presented a prize. “To all mothers and fathers here – you are superheroes. Never forget that,” he said, among other things.
In addition, Prince Harry also allowed himself a rare remark about his relationship with brother Prince William. In conversation with a teenager, he said that he had a younger brother. Harry then asked: “Is he going crazy?” And answered the question in the same breath with the words with the words: “Oh, you know what, siblings.”
