Matthias Schweighöfer chats about his false start at the driver’s license – and reveals how driving with his girlfriend Ruby O. Fee becomes a break for him.
He enjoys hours of car journeys with his girlfriend at his side. However, the beginnings of the motor driver Matthias Schweighöfer were in order: “I got my driver’s license when I was 18-I failed theory the first time,” said the 44-year-old of the “Bild” newspaper.
The road traffic rules obviously no longer cause any problems. His score in Flensburg? “It’s zero at the moment,” said Schweighöfer. He was a quiet driver “who doesn’t press unnecessarily on the gas”.

He likes to sit in the car with his girlfriend, actress Ruby O. Fee, in the car: “Driving is like a good therapy lesson. Ruby and I could go somewhere for hours. We conduct good communication. Sometimes we just silence in the car. It’s a good silence.”
The actor also has music tips for a jaunt in “A mild summer night with an open window”: “Brazilian jazz, Bon Iver, sometimes hip-hop. Or a cold play album!”
