Kida Ramadan: “Don’t want to play the gangster anymore”
After his detention, Kida Ramadan is drawn to his home country. “I am Kreuzberger Berlin Lebanese,” he says. A new cinema project for next year should also play partly in Lebanon.
Actor Kida Khodr Ramadan wants to go artistically new ways after his release. “I am currently preparing for international projects,” said the “4 Blocks” star of the German Press Agency in the Lebanese capital Beirut. He has canceled many inquiries from abroad, but now wanted to work more internationally.

“National I won’t play the gangster anymore – I would do it again internationally,” said Ramadan. During his time in open execution, he particularly noticed how he was rated differently depending on the situation: “When I won prizes, I was always the German actor.” During his time in open execution, it was time to suddenly said that “the Lebanese actor” was in prison. “I am Kreuzberger Berlin Lebanese,” said Ramadan.
The 48-year-old is currently to prepare new projects in his home country, Lebanon. One of the most beautiful countries, as Ramadan said: “The Lebanon people have so much courage and so much strength and that is a great role model for the world.” In Lebanon he is working on a new cinema project for next year.
The actor had been in the so -called open prison since August 6, 2024 after he had been convicted of multiple driving without a license. He was released from custody on August 4th.
