Pink Floyd announced an edition for the 50th anniversary of “Wish you were here”with unpublished versions of classics.

The news comes exactly half a century after the band composed of Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason He will launch his seminal album on September 12, 1975.

According to a press release, the next reissue offers “a new and exciting perspective of one of Pink Floyd’s most emblematic and beloved albums.”

To celebrate the album’s announcement, Pink Floyd has shared an unprecedented demo recording of “Welcomome to the machine” (Originally entitled “The Machine Song”).

How is the new edition of “Wish You Were Here” for its 50th anniversary

The album also includes 25 additional tracks composed of nine oddities of study and 16 live recordings captured by renowned Bootlegger Mike Millard at the Pink Floyd concert at Los Angeles Sports Arena on April 26, 1975, which now receives its first official release.

The live audio has been meticulously restored and remastered by Steven Wilson. In addition, the Blu-ray edition offers fans the opportunity to watch three live films of the 1975 band tour, as well as a short film by Storm Thorgerson.

The 3 LP and 2 CD formats include the original album and the nine extra study themes. The luxury box includes all the material in 2 CD, 3 LP (exclusive transparent vinyl) and Blu-ray, in addition to a fourth transparent vinyl LP, “Live at Wembley 1974”a replica of the 7 -inch Japanese single “Have a cigar” and “Welcomome to the machine”a hardcover book with unpublished photographs, a program of the comic tour and a poster of the Knebworth concert.
