Anna-Maria Zimmermann: So her marriage failed after nine years

At the beginning of the year, pop singer Anna-Maria Zimmermann (36) announced the separation from her husband after nine years of marriage. the former “DSDS” candidate now reveals details about the decision that she did not easily fall because of the children together.

On the one hand, she said to herself: “I can’t do that. I have two little boys, I am mom, have to be there for her and can’t do that now”. On the other hand, it has increasingly matured in it that separation is also the best for her children, because “Anna-Maria, honestly, your boys deserve a happy mom”, as Zimmermann explains their thoughts in tears at the time.

Despite the separation, Zimmermann asserts, she still gets on well with her ex-partner. A fact that she is quite proud of: “If my boys say they have to see dad now, dad comes for lunch. I say that many can take an example of how we get it just.”

Anna-Maria Zimmermann started her career in 2005 at “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”, where she took sixth place. After that, she successfully established herself as a party hit singer who regularly appears on the Ballermann and on the shows by Florian Silbereisen (44).
