Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: Rare joint appearance at FashionWeek

This has now become a real rarity: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (39) have once again shown themselves together in public. The two designers and former acting stars visited an exclusive event of the “W Magazine” and Bloomingdale in the Eleven Madison Park restaurant as part of the New York Fashion Week.

Known for their minimalist fashion style, the twin sisters performed in a partner look again this time: Mary-Kate and Ashley each wore oversized scarves in different prints, their long hair smooth and with middle parting. For photos they posed by side with “W” editor-in-chief Sara Moonves.

Public moments of the two “a crazy day in New York” stars have become rare for several years. The current appearance is the first public sight of the twins since 2024. At that time they were seen together with their younger sister Elizabeth (36) in Manhattan.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen became world famous in the role of Michelle Tanner in the Sitcom “Full House” at just six months. In the 1990s and early 2000s, more than two dozen films and series such as “A twin rarely comes alone” (1998), “Twins in love with Paris” (1999) or “In love with Rome” (2002). At the same time, the sisters became true IT girls of the 2000s.

Today the Olens lead one of the most successful luxury fashion houses in the United States with their label The Row and keep their private life out of the public. Ashley Olsen became the mother of a son in August 2023, her husband is the artist Louis Eisner. Mary-Kate was married to French banker Olivier Sarkozy from 2015 to 2021 and has lived in New York since separation. In the summer of 2024 she made headlines when she was spotted together with a former ice hockey professional in the Hamptons. But the two should only be friends.
