Actor Brian Cox, known from the successful series “Succession”, presented his new strip “Glenrothan” at the film festival in Toronto. In the Scottish family drama, the 79-year-old not only took on a leading role, but also directed it for the first time. Cox was accompanied by his wife Nicole Ansari-Cox for the premiere. The couple appeared in style in Scottish outfits: he in the kilt, in the silver dress and headdress with a typical tartan pattern.
Spectators noticed that Brian Cox shows too much leg
After the film was demonstrated, a question and answer session with the premiere guests took place in the cinema – and Cox made a fashionable faux pas. As the industry leaf reports, a spectator in the hall raised his hand to warn the wide -legged actor. He shows much more than just his calves on stage. His tartan skirt had slipped up. “Is it so bad?” Cox countered.
“Or a good thing?” Asked the soundingly laughing Cox when he closed his knees and explained: “You have to wear the kilt properly. The kilt is made to be cool and free. And it is a damn wonderful freedom,” the Scottish actor insisted.

Brian Cox fights with his kilt
Shortly thereafter, according to the report, Cox was interrupted again. Calls sounded out of the hall like “Your legs! Your legs!” Cox then turned to his producer Neil Zeiger and called: “Whose idea was it to wear these damn kilts?” With played outrage, he said: “Certainly not my idea. It was the idea of the producer. In the end they always try to finish yourself!” He added.
“You are probably wearing underpants,” said Cox to his producer, who nodded in agreement. “The kilt stands for freedom and carefree,” Cox advised before it admitted: “It is difficult not to wear underpants.”
