Born in Lithuania
Harald Serafin was born on December 24, 1931 in Lithuania. His mother came from Salzburg, she inherited his funny way and the talent to “open up customers”, as the son made. From the father, an Italian, the temperament is always moody. After Lithuania was occupied, the parents fled through the Russians to East Prussia in 1939. In 1944 they escaped the Russian again, with a refugee stretch they moved to Bamberg, where the family settled and opened a textile business.
