The day after the state banquet: Sir Keir Strandmer welcomed US President Donald Trump to his country seat on Thursday.
A day after the festive state banquet at Windsor Castle, US President Donald Trump (79) met on Thursday afternoon with British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer (63) and his wife Lady Victoria (52).
Friendly meeting between Trump and Strander
Strand welcomed Trump to Chquers, the traditional country seat of the Prime Minister, around an hour’s drive from London. Trump covered the route in the helicopter Marine One. The meeting of the two statesmen seemed friendly. Photos show the Premier hand in hand with his wife next to Trump to the camera. Victoria Starmer wore a grass -green blouse dress with flower decoration, the two men showed up in the suit.
Donald Trump received a tour of the Sir Winston Churchill Archive inside, and there are also bilateral conversations with a string. In the afternoon, the two should keep a press conference before going back to the United States for Trump and First Lady Melania Trump (55).
Strand and Trump had already met on Wednesday evening with the state banquet in Windsor Castle, which was oriented by the Royal Family.
Melania stayed in Windsor
Melania Trump was not there while visiting Chquers. In the morning the First Lady and the US President still had time together with King Charles III. (76) and Queen Camilla (78) spent at Windsor Castle. The four posed for a final group photo before Donald Trump made his way to Chquers.
According to the BBC, Melania is to spend time with Camilla and Princess Kate (43) in Windsor, among other things she visited the castle library and the doll’s house inside the castle.
