The third season will follow Ambassador Kate Wyler (Keri Russell) after accusing Vice President Grace Penn (Allison Janney) of putting a terrorist plot and admitting that he looks for the vice president. However, after the death of the president, it is revealed that her husband, Hal (Rufus Sewell), I could have killed him unintentionally. Kate will have to assume a role he never wanted, with a freedom that he never expected, an increasingly complex friendship with Foreign Secretary Austin Dennison (David Gyasi), and a disturbing bond with the first gentleman, Todd Penn (Bradley Whitford).

What happened in the second season of diplomat?
The second season followed the consequences of the events of the first, which culminated in the detonation of a bomb in downtown London. The series follows Kate Wyler in her attempt to discover who could be responsible for the bomb, which leads her to a search to discover who in the British government is responsible for sabotage to the country.
