A plane, registered in its name, allegedly crashed in a field in Franklin, North Carolina, about 435 km southeast Nashville around 3 PM, local time, on Thursday, according to FlightTAware data and a FAA statement.


The plane left the John C tune airport in Nashville, according to FlightTAware. He crashed in a field near IoTla Valley Elementary School, Wlos reported, CNN affiliate.
“Students and staff are safe. There was a plane accident in neighboring property. We reiterate that all students and staff are safe,” wrote the Macon County Sheriff’s office on a Facebook publication.
Three people were aboard the plane, according to the FAA, and the National Board of Transportation Security said it is investigating what happened.
