Marcus Höfl Again with ex Marion Popp
Marcus Höfl has re -awarded after the separation from Maria Riesch – to his ex -girlfriend Marion Popp, with whom he has a son.
Marcus Höfl (51) is back in a relationship after Maria Riesch’s divorce. The woman at his side is his ex-girlfriend and mother of his son, Marion Popp (50). After 16 years of separation, the sports manager and the entrepreneur found each other back to each other. “Marion and I are firmly together and we are very happy,” Höfl explains to the leaf. “It feels good all around. And very different from our first relationship. Adult and more relaxed.”
Höfl and Popp were a couple until 2009 and have son Luca (19) together. After that, both prominent new partners found: While Höfl was married to ski star Maria Riesch from 2011 to January 2025, Popp found her luck with ex-DFB President Wolfgang Niersbach (74), with whom she was from 2014 to December 2024.
The shared son always connected her
Because of her son Luca, Höfl and Popp stayed in touch over the years. In November 2024, the two approached again after the 51-year-old’s father suffered from cancer. “Marion stood up in a great way when my father got sick. That was very important to me. Friendship became very slow again,” says Höfl.
The old new couple now lives together in Kitzbühel. In addition, Höfl will soon move into an apartment in New York, where he regularly has to do with work with NBA stars such as Dennis Schröder (32). Popp works in Munich, but she will always accompany her partner to the USA. This is exactly what the relationship had failed 16 years ago: “At that time I was only on the road and had no time for our family life. It’s different today. Marion and I am very happy that we found each other again.”

Marcus Höfl and Maria Riesch announced their separation after 13 years of marriage in August 2024, and marriage was divorced in January. “Such a separation is painful, but something like that happens” ,. The former couple “slowly but steadily removed”, there was no certain trigger. It was important to her that they “differ in friendship”.
The ski Olympic champion has also been re-awarded: she has been with Johann Schrempf (65) for around half a year. The 25 -year -old Traveling Operation Manager is “the best companion for my new phase of life, which I can imagine,” Riesch recently enthused in an interview with the “Bunten”.
Marion Popp and Wolfgang Niersbach’s divorce is still running. The couple married in 2023 after nine years of relationship.
