“The Best of Ennio Morricone” On March 12th in Linz’s Brucknerhaus, the Klangwelt celebrates one of the most famous film music composers in the world. The Italian, who died in 2020, shaped the western like no other – he wrote the melodies for “Play me the song of death” or “Once upon a time in America”. Quentin Tarantino didn’t want anyone else for his films “Django Unchained” or “The Hateful Eight”. His most important works will be performed with 100 soloists, singers and musicians from the Milano Festival Opera.
“Game of Thrones” revolutionized the world of series and created a global audience. A large orchestra, a powerful choir and solo artists will present the music in on March 12 in the Brucknerhaus “Game of Thrones – The Concert Show” from all eight seasons of the award-winning HBO series – including screen animations and visual effects. Both events begin at 8 p.m. in the main hall.
